This page explains which information may be processed when you use this website and contact Vincent Rigal.
Data collected
The form may collect your name (optional), email address, request category and message content (required). Please do not submit sensitive data or confidential information that is not necessary for your request.
Purposes and legal bases
The data is used to reply to your request and follow up on the professional conversation. Processing relies on pre-contractual steps taken at your request when the message concerns an opportunity or assignment, and on Vincent Rigal’s legitimate interest in replying to other enquiries.
Recipients
The data is accessible to Vincent Rigal and his technical providers: Supabase for storage and execution of the contact function, Brevo for email notification, and OVH for the domain, website hosting and mailbox. It is not sold or used to build a mailing list.
Location and transfers
The Supabase project is located in the West EU (Ireland) region. Brevo states that its databases are hosted within the European Union, including Google Cloud in Belgium. Any subsequent subprocessors are covered by the processing agreements and safeguards applicable to each provider.
Retention
Messages are retained for a maximum of 12 months after the last exchange, unless the conversation remains active or a legal obligation requires otherwise. Backups and technical logs may have their own retention periods with the relevant providers.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS, database access is restricted and service keys are not exposed to the browser. Nevertheless, no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request portability where applicable. To exercise your rights, write to the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL).
Cookies and audience measurement
Audience measurement is provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics to track aggregated usage and performance indicators. The Cloudflare beacon is not used to collect form content, create an advertising profile or track a person across different websites. The site does not use non-essential cookies or automated prospecting. This page will be updated if the scope of this measurement changes.
Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling is performed using form data.
